I’ve got a super fun DIY for you today because you can make it whatever you wanted or dreamed! If you’re like me, you have a lot of inside jokes with family or friends and love custom shirts. I have spent SO much money on customizing shirts online. Since I’ve gotten a Cricut, each new t-shirt costs me the price of a plain t-shirt! I’m telling you, this is life changing. I am just popping over here to share my Cricut expertise but typically blog at Practical and Pretty! I’m so happy to be here today.
Hey friends! I hope your summer is going well so far, I can’t believe we are halfway through ours! Seriously, where does the time go?! We have a little road trip coming up over the Fourth of July next week, and I thought it would be the perfect time to share these super fun road trip snack kits I made for my little ones last time we road tripped!

Want to cancel your cable and still watch the TV shows you love? You totally can!
Do you have a love/hate relationship with your cable provider? Do you think they might be evil? I know the feeling. Haha! I think the general public is starting to realize this but in case you haven’t, you can watch almost ANY tv show now through a streaming device. This means you don’t have to pay for cable just to watch your favorite shows. Some of them require you to make an account and login, others don’t. Some of them cost a little bit of money per month, others are free. But one thing is for sure: you can probably watch what you want to for cheaper with streaming device like a Roku than with a cable or satellite TV subscription.
But what about sports?! Sports channels are basically the ones who still have exclusivity with traditional providers. But there are actually ways to get even those elusive channels like ESPN on a streaming device for a fraction of the cost of a cable package that includes them. Keep reading!
Hi everyone! Amanda from Old House to New Home here sharing a recipe for easy strawberry and cheese danish. Guys, I’m not going to lie. I am pretty proud of this one. I brought these easy danishes to a brunch and a few people thought they were store bought! I am definitely not a baker, so I was patting myself on the back as everyone raved about them!
The secret to success with the strawberry danish is puff pastry. Seriously, puff pastry always makes a dish look fancier than it is. There is just something about it that adds some flair and fanciness to any recipe. When I made this easy brunch recipe, it took me about an hour from start to finish and was definitely easy. My daughter loved helping me prepare these and it is always fun to get your kids involved in the kitchen! [Read more…]
