I love trifles. They are one of those desserts that you can whip up using whatever you have on hand and it almost always just works. Bonus, they look beautiful displayed.
I whipped this one up yesterday for a 4th of July BBQ and wasn’t planning on sharing it, but it got such rave reviews that I had to post the recipe for you guys.
What you need:
1 small box vanilla pudding (generic is fine)
16 oz whipped topping
1 1/2 c. milk
1 carton strawberries
1 carton blueberries
3/4 c. white chocolate chips
1 pound cake
In large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk. After thoroughly mixed, stir in your whipped topping. Next, wash your berries and chop strawberries into small, bite sized pieces. Cut pound cake into small, bite sized pieces. Layer all ingredients in trifle dish or bowl. Refrigerate until you are ready to serve.
This recipe will feed a crowd, and the crowd will love it!
