What’s up peeps?? I hope you’re all having a completely rockin’ morning. How about some chocolate to make it better? Did you guys know that chocolate covered grapes existed? The first time I tried these beauts was almost two years ago. I was in the hospital, and had just given birth to my sweet baby boy Luke. He had been whisked away to the NICU and I was trying hard in my room to recover enough to go see him. Enter my best friend Abby. She was moving to Texas with her family for med school the very next day, but somehow found time to come visit me and bring chocolate covered grapes. I remember thinking, “huh? chocolate covered grapes?” and then “wow. These are amazing.” I love them in the summer time because the cool, wet insides of the grapes is just so refreshing, and the chocolate is… well, chocolate!
Here’s what you need:
one pound of your favorite seedless grapes (I always use red or black)
8 oz melting chocolate (milk is my favorite)
white chocolate for garnishing (if desired)
Start by washing and straining your grapes.

After you have washed your grapes, set them out on a paper towel to dry thoroughly.

After grapes are dry, put them in a bowl to wait.

Next, melt your chocolate… mmmm.

Once your chocolate is melted dump it in the bowl with your grapes and mix until all grapes are coated pretty thickly with the chocolate.

Spread chocolatey grapes on a wax paper or foil lined cookie sheet.

If you want to garnish your grapes, melt your white chocolate at this point. Pour melted white chocolate into a ziplock bag and cut a tiny piece off the corner. Drizzle melted chocolate over grapes.

Once chocolate is drizzled put grapes in the fridge until completely cool.

ALWAYS serve cold, and ENJOY!
