Hey everybody!! I am super excited to kick off Pretty Providence’s Halloween week 2013 with these adorable nutter butter ghosts.
Honestly, I think they kind of speak for themselves, so cute am I right? My son Luke LOVES nutter butters, which is kinda weird for me because we never had them in our house growing up, because my sister is deathly allergic to nuts of any kind. Anyway, Luke loves suckers as well and when I was brainstorming for a Halloween treat to make for him a little lightbulb went on and the nutter butter white chocolate ghosts were born.
Melt your chocolate/bark according to package directions. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil. If you are using paper straws, pinch the last inch or two closed on one side. Lay your straws in a row on your baking sheet. Thoroughly coat your nutter butters in chocolate and press onto the flat side of your straws. While chocolate is still warm, add your cute little eyes. Place your ghosts in the fridge to cool. Once chocolate has hardened draw your mouths on with your edible marker!
“Hey Luke, make a ghost face!”
We like happy ghosts around these parts, but the great thing is that you can customize them however you’d like!
Hope your ghosts are as big of a success as mine were!
Happy Halloween week everybody!
