I saw these pajama pants at savers a few weeks ago and I loved the fabric so much I had to get them, but I knew I didn’t want to wear them. It was just the fabric. So I decided to try to make them into a pillow. I am still quite the amateur at sewing so it turned out a little lumpy, but I am still proud! I took a few pictures of the process so here’s how it went:
First I unpicked one of the pant legs with a seam ripper, just enough to where I could tell it would be enough fabric for my pillow form. (which I got at savers for $2.99.) Then I cut the top of the pant leg off so I had a rectangle of fabric as you see in the above left picture. Then I folded the fabric over the pillow inside-out like you see in the above right photo, and again in the photo below. I wanted to make a flap so that I could easily get the pillow in and out since it’s such a bright fabric and I might just use it for spring and summer.
