Let’s get this party started with some quick, healthy party snack ideas. I love fruit. Maybe a little on the side of being addicted to fruit. However, their variety of flavors, textures, and colors make fruit a perfect option when hosting a party. But let’s spice it up a little, shall we?
Have you had ants on a log? I love these little critters. They are fun for kids and adults. You take about 5 or 6 stalks of celery (organic is best) and wash those bad boys. Don’t know the value of washing your fruits and vegetables? Check out my post where I SHOW you the importance.

Once washed and rinsed, cut them into 3 to 4 inch celery stick. Place about 1 Tbs of natural or freshly ground peanut butter (my favorite is Adam’s Natural Peanut) down the center of the celery. Top with raisins or washed and quartered red grapes. I don’t know which I love more… okay, maybe the juicy grapes on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve. They’re literally finger-licking good. I may or may not have eaten about 8 on my own just now.
I’ve seen lots of different variations of an apple sandwich. You can put peanut butter and granola, almond butter and raisins, or you can try my way. Remember how I’m a fruit-aholic?
You begin by washing your apples and fresh strawberries. Seriously… scrub those babies. Then thinly slice your apples (I did both Fuji and Granny Smith) . To prevent them from browning, lightly coat slices with lemon or lime juice (makes it a little tart) or pineapple juice (a sweeter option). You can use the same method for your banana slices. Top your apple slices with banana and strawberry slices. Viola! Definitely full of complimentary flavors and super easy.
