Please exercise pin etiquette: If you like an idea, click to the source and pin the original post!
Sometimes Pinterest is fickle… I will see a pin, re-pin it without clicking onto the post right then, and later when I try to I realize it doesn’t go to the source. Or in the case of both of my pins today, the source has all but disappeared completely! (This can be avoided…) Still they are good ideas, so here they are. Maybe I will just have to do new tutorials for them!
First up, love the simplicity of these cork board dots in a pretty color scheme on the wall. I would think that all you have to do is spray paint the ones you want to be colored. Or maybe that’s fabric?
Also, this paper organizer is reportedly just three cereal boxes wrapped together! Great way to recycle and get organized at the same time. I do want to try this asap, being on my organizing kick and all.
It is freezing here right now. This past week the temp has been between -8 and 20 degrees at all times. FREEZING! But I do think the snow and mountains are pretty! Anyway, while I am staying indoors and drinking hot chocolate here I hope you all are having a nice weekend!
I couldn’t find the original source for this pin (which I HATE..urgg) but at least we know the photo credit?! Anyway, I thought it was such a smart idea, put a cut out of a number on your cake and then sprinkle the whole thing with sprinkles and remove the number. Wahlah! Another why didn’t I think of this moment…
I think these message in a bottle Valentines decorations are so sweet and simple. I also think it would be fun to do as a surprise for a loved one with a treat or something. Thanks for the inspiration, Krafty Kat!
As far as my week.. I am just adjusting to being a mom of two! It is hard work.. but so worth it. Breastfeeding has been a real struggle for me. I just have little babies with little mouths and it seems like they have a lot of trouble latching on. In addition to that, I came down with Mastitis… (I had it 4 times in the 4 months I breastfed Luke) so hideous. I am trying hard to stay positive over here and make it work though. On the bright side, I got on antibiotics yesterday so I should be feeling better soon! I have about a million pictures of the munchkins but I am going to share two I didn’t put on instagram (baije1) so that those of you who follow me there will have something new.
Luke has been such a good helper with Nora. He is a sweet big brother and seems more and more interested in her every day. He loves to stare at her and show her all his toys.
I like this picture of the princess because you can actually see those skinny baby legs! We usually have her super bundled up because she is always shivering but she was about to get changed. Thankfully, I think her days and nights are starting to switch a bit as well…hopefully!
Have a great weekend everybody!
