Hi ladies! I hope you all have had a wonderful month since my last post. It has been unseasonably warm here in LA (it’s in the 80’s today), so it definitely feels like Spring is on its way. However, it isn’t time yet for sundresses-it still gets chilly and I for one am not ready to retire the black and leather just yet.
This outfit is a perfect transition piece-the colors and length of the dress scream spring but the black pointed pumps and leather jacket still give it that wintery edge. I love pieces like this dress because they can be styled so many ways-paired with a moto jacket, tights, and ankle booties you get a rock and roll (but still wintery) feel, yet pair this dress with a white tuxedo blazer and wedges and it’s a total summer style! That is one of the keys to being frugally fashionable-always look for pieces that can transition through the seasons and transcend the trends. A fit and flare dress like this will always be in style, the cut is classic. This dress is definitely going to be on repeat for me! Best part? It’s only $22.00, and who doesn’t love a little leopard?
