As much as I love getting dolled up, most of the time I dress pretty casual. I live in jeans and striped t-shirts or lately, chambray. I like to wear flats in fun colors or patterns and change out my purse to keep things interesting. Can a girl ever have enough pairs of shoes?! I think not. (I have been implementing the “buy a pair of shoes, donate a pair” rule and it’s helping to keep my closet organized and motivating me not to hoard.)
These crochet flats I got from Payless Shoesource are super comfy and I love that they can be worn during the summer or fall. This specific day it was 100 degrees but my app said it felt like 113. Yeah. I ran some errands and literally booked it between the car and the air conditioned stores I needed to go to. So hot! My feet were totally fine in these shoes though, not too hot compared to the rest of me. The crochet is so cute right? And it adds much needed femininity to my daily uniform, so they are going to be a staple for me in the next few months! I also scored a floral bag which matches my flats making me feel pulled together without having to make any real effort!
