Ingredients

round loaf of sour dough bread
1
cup
of sharp cheddar
sliced into ¼" slices and cut into small pieces
½
cup
butter
melted
2
tablespoon
basil
chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F.
Slice sour dough bread every inch horizontally and almost all the way through (leave about ½" from bottom)
Turn bread and slice every inch vertically.
Stuff cheese slices into each cut section.
Mix butter and basil and drizzle on top of bread.
Wrap bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove foil and cook for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Notes
Store in an airtight container, best if eaten promptly after baking.
