How to cut golden snitch wings with a Cricut machine:
If you have a Cricut machine, grab a light grip mat, and open my design in Cricut Design Space.
Size it for your ornament, and select 'make it.
Remove the paper from around the edges of the wings, then carefully peel the wings themselves off of the mat.
How to cut golden snitch wings with a pencil and scissors:
Print our wings template* onto white paper or cardstock. If you can print directly onto the gold paper, that would be easier!
Cut the wing template out of the white paper, trace it onto the gold paper, and then cut that out.
Spray paint instructions (optional)
If your ornament isn't gold, put gold metallic spray paint and ornament outside on a surface that you can spray paint on.
Spray paint the ornament, give it at least 2 coats. Let dry completely between coats and before gluing wings on.
Assembling the golden snitch:
Use strong hot glue to glue wings onto the Harry Potter tree topper.
Hold the wings on as the glue dries to avoid them sliding down or not adhering correctly.
