Best Green Bean Casserole
Green bean casserole with canned green beans is not only easy to throw together but super delicious! One of our favorite make ahead Thanksgiving sides!

Ingredients
4
cups
of fresh cooked green beans or 3 cans green beans
1 10.5
oz
can cream of mushroom soup
1 ½
cups
french's fried onions
1
cup
fresh mushrooms
optional, chopped
½
teaspoon
pepper
¼
teaspoon
garlic salt
or regular
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a casserole dish (the one I use is about 9 inches square) combine green beans, soup, mushrooms, salt, pepper and half of your onions.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, then top with your remaining onions and bake five additional minutes.

Pro Tips:
This casserole can be made 2 to 3 days ahead of time!
Mix everything up and bake as directed, leaving ¾ cup fried onions off of the top. Seal tightly and store in the fridge until Thanksgiving day.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated through, adding the ¾ cup fried onions for the last five minutes.
Reheat leftovers in the oven at 350 degrees or in the microwave.
