Clean some tin cans and remove their labels, or use mason jars.
Download the time capsule questions and the labels and have kids fill them out.
Cut the labels with a paper cutter or scissors, and tape them around the outside of your time capsule container.
You can also add a few mementos from the year. Stickers or little things that your kids won't miss.
Next, seal them up tightly. Store them in a cool, dry place. *see notes
Each December, get them out and keep them sealed until it's time to open them on New Years Day.

Notes
We celebrate Christmas, so we store our time capsules in our holiday decorations box and keep them under the tree until New Years Day. This helps us to actually remember where they are when it's time to open them. You can do it however works for you.
