I am sort of a salad dressing snob. My mom makes so many delicious homemade dressings that I think often store bought variations don't measure up. I was so stoked to see this compiled list of 20 homemade salad dressings! I can't wait to try the new-to-me ones out. Thanks, Tipnut!

With baby girl's pending arrival I am getting geared up to make her a thousand headbands. I know this compilation of how to make 20 different fabric flowers will come in handy. Thanks, Crafty Blog Stalker!

Of course I have to share pictures of Luke boy's second Halloween. He was one spoiled boy and his week was full of fun festivities including a church trunk-or-treat, a trick-or-treat at Daddy's work, and neighborhood trick-or-treating! He got quite a haul for a boy who doesn't eat candy yet, haha.
We also had my angel mother-in-law here this week and we finished painting our house! I can't wait to show you all before and after pictures this week! On a less happy note, Luke started getting sick on Halloween so the second half of the week has been rough. I thought I had escaped it, but unfortunately I spent all last night throwing up :(. Thank goodness it's the weekend so I have a bit of time to recover. If you want to keep up with me during the week I'm on instagram as baije1. Hope you all have a healthy and happy weekend!
Well I love these bookends and the idea of making them at home by just gluing a couple of plastic toys onto some wood blocks and spray painting! So easy and beautiful! I guess these actually are not DIY but they are from PB Teen, in case you have $50 you would like to spend...but great inspiration for those of us who like to take things like this into our own hands!
I am not a mother or even close to that yet, but I really think this is such a cool product! (A hoody that fits over a baby carrier!) Once again I like the idea, not so much the price tag, but I think this is something that could be done at home pretty easily using a mens sweatshirt and a little altering. Maybe when I do have baby I will try that?! Cause it definitely looks cozy! This comes from Peekaru.
This week was a crazy one. Last night husband and I just collapsed on the couch and could barely move because of how tired we were. We plan on staying in all weekend watching movies we borrowed from the library. We did manage to get a Halloween costume together though and I am so amazed by husband for building me this amazing boat! He truly is the best. We really just needed an excuse for him to wear that wetsuit we scored for $5 at a yard sale this summer.
What do you guys think!? If you want to keep up with me during the week and see my thrifting finds and other what-not i'm on instagram: sarahsarahjane1 and twitter: sarahsarahjane - I love me some social networking!
