Girls Bedroom Ideas
I have two girls, and they share a bedroom. They started begging us for a bunk bed last year, so we started the bedroom makeover and over time we have created a space that is beautiful and also functions really well for us. It is not a big room, so we try to utilize the space strategically. Bunk beds definitely help with that, as well as the stuffed animal hammocks we got. If you have kiddos, you know how they love their squishmallows and plushes!

After we got the bunk beds, I quickly found that making the bed was difficult. Not just for the kids, even for me! Beddys bedding makes the process a lot easier because it's all in one piece - you only have to tuck the sides in and you're done.
Beddys Zipper Bedding for Bunk Beds
We have a blog post with everything you need to know about Beddy's as well as an example of how we used them for a Modern Boy Bedroom and in Jessica's DREAMY Daybed Reading Nook!
I had a really hard time deciding which Beddys I wanted to get for the new girls' bedroom bunk bed. Since Beddys are an investment, I wanted to choose something that would match with a lot of things in case we want to redecorate in the future. The good news is that you can order fabric samples from Beddys for free. They shipped me 6 fabrics so I could hold the samples up to the walls and see how the fabrics would look in their room. The bedding I ultimately chose for the girls' bedroom is called Olivia Luxe. It has happy little rainbows on the sheets and the minky, comforter, and sham are lilac.
I absolutely love how they look, and my girls love how comfy they are - as well as that they can just zip them up in the morning and go! Their room looks so much less messy - even when the rest of it isn't clean, the beds look nice.

Over the past year as we've re-worked the space for them, I've tried to make choices that will not only look pretty, but make their space less cluttered and more functional.
Their bunk bed caddies are SO helpful. They can keep books, a water bottle, and whatever little treasures they feel like keeping within reach.
As far as decorating, I keep the walls really simple because my girls tend to hang up their own drawings or collages they make, and we've got to have room for that. The only thing that is hanging are the hammocks and this yarn rainbow I made a couple years ago. I can't resist using books as decor as well, so I organize them by color on the shelf and it looks so cute, right?
