I recently decided that I needed a bread box. It's so funny because it's something I NEVER thought about until one day, I realized that as our family has grown, so has the number of loaves of bread on the counter. They were piling up and it was kind of making me crazy! I found a really cute retro bread box on Amazon that I loved & my MIL got it for me for Christmas.
Cricut Vinyl Project
After a few days I decided I wanted to jazz it up. It may have something to do with how much fun I've been having personalizing things with my Cricut lately! I used Iron-On to label these laundry bags and used removable vinyl to label all the craft supplies. For even more ideas check out our Cricut projects page!
This is a perfect Cricut project for beginners because it only requires a few items and takes about 30 minutes to complete.
What you need for Cricut vinyl projects:
- Cricut machine
- Permanent or Removable Vinyl
- Vinyl Transfer Tape
- Blank item to personalize (like this Retro Bread Box)
Instructions:
- Click here to download the CARBS SVG.
- Unzip the file and then save to your desktop.
- Upload the file into Cricut design space.
- You can size it however you'd like. I re-sized mine to be about six inches across.
After it's all cut, weed out your design and use transfer tape to put the design on your blank! It transferred easily to my bread box. We also have an in-depth tutorial for how to use transfer tape if you're a beginner.
See? So easy! I hope you have fun personalizing stuff with your Cricut too!
