Cranberry Jalapeño Dip with cream cheese is an easy appetizer for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other winter holidays. It's so delicious, everyone will be asking for the recipe!
I've been making this Jalapeño Cranberry Dip as part of our Thanksgiving appetizer spread for years.
I have been asked over and over again for this recipe. It's sweet and tart, the combination of flavors is unlike anything else!
While Cranberries are in season, I like to buy a big bag of them. With it I make a batch of this dip and my favorite Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce a few days before Thanksgiving. A fun way to use any extra cranberries is to make this delicious and beautiful Cranberry Punch!

Pro Tips and FAQ
To make this recipe without a food chopper, use a sharp knife. Finely chop all of the produce separately, then mix it together in a bowl with the sugar, spices, and lime juice.
Can I use frozen cranberries for this recipe?
Fresh cranberries work best for this recipe. However, it can be made with frozen cranberries, they will just have more liquid in them. The cranberries should be thawed completely. Chop them, strain the excess liquid out, then add the rest of the ingredients in with them.
Make-ahead instructions:
Prepare the cranberry jalapeño mixture and keep it in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
The day you want to serve this, soften the cream cheese for an hour or two before serving, then spoon the mixture on top just before it's time to eat. Serve immediately.
