I am in love with Jamba Juice bowls. I swear I could eat there every day. Unfortunately, they don't have a location where I live. (What the heck?!) It is so hot here I crave one once a day...at least.
Jamba Juice Recipes
We have a really yummy copycat recipe of Jamba's Caribbean Passion smoothie as well, and I'm loving this easy green smoothie lately too, but when I'm using it as a meal replacement I just really love Jamba Juice bowls.
Chunky Strawberry Bowl
One of my favorite smoothies to get there is the chunky strawberry bowl. It is so delicious, and filling. I have been craving it all the time for breakfast, lunch or a healthy treat.
So, this week I made it my mission to make my own version, and it is dang good, if I do say so myself! I love the unexpected marriage of strawberries and peanut butter. I feel like that extra protein gives me the burst I need in the mornings to make it through these hot summer days.

How to Make our Strawberry Bowl
All you do is put everything in a blender (we LOVE our Blendtec, totally worth that price tag) and once blended pour into a bowl. Then top with fresh fruit and granola.
Here is what it looks like after blended, if you prefer to eat this out of a cup that is totally fine too of course, but I like eating mine in a bowl like they serve at Jamba Juice.
Jamba Juice Bowl Making Tips:
- Add liquid and yogurt into the blender first, this helps everything blend more smoothly without jamming your blender.
- The less liquid you add the thicker your smoothie will be, but it takes a strong blender to blend with little liquid. If you like your bowl extra thick adjust liquid accordingly.
- If you don't have a frozen banana ready, you can substitute a fresh banana and a few ice cubes.
- For a nice consistency, you will need to use a powerful blender. We love our Blendtec. This KitchenAid Blender is great too and it comes in so many fun colors.

Nutrition
I love everything about this smoothie, but here are two of my favorite things: number one, it is so thick and delicious. Second, no added sugar.
Woo hoo for delicious healthfulness.

This was great! The chunky strawberry bowl has been my latest pregnancy craving and Jamba is so expensive! I added more strawberries in mine just because I wanted the flavor extra pronounced but this is fantastic! I used gluten free granola instead of oats inside the recipe and topped it with the same at the end to make the whole thing gluten free!
