    Hot honey butter is so easy to make in under 5 minutes. Spicy honey butter is delicious with warm cornbread, rolls, chicken, and more!

    If you like your food to have a little kick, you are going to love this spicy honey butter! You can make it as mild or spicy as you like.

    Hot Honey Butter

    What is it?

    Hot Honey Butter is honey butter made with spicy 'hot honey' that is infused with chiles. The other ingredients are butter, red pepper flakes, and heavy cream. It isn't super spicy, it just has a little kick to it. The sweet and spicy combination is absolutely delicious. It only takes a few minutes to make. 

    What should I eat it with?

    I recommend making some amazing cornbread to eat with your honey butter. Try our Grandma's Jiffy Cornbread with Creamed Corn or if you prefer dinner rolls, make Grandma's Homemade Crescent Rolls! Whatever bread you have, top it with some of this amazing stuff. We usually like to have Pepper Jelly and Raspberry Jam to go with our dinner as well!     How to Make Hot Honey Butter

    Ingredients

    • Hot Honey
    • Red Pepper Flakes
    • Butter
    • Heavy Whipping Cream

    Instructions

    1. Add the softened butter to a small mixing bowl.
    2. Pour in heavy whipping cream and hot honey.
    3. With a hand mixer, whip the honey butter until it is well-mixed, light, and fluffy.
    4. Add red pepper flakes to taste, if you want it more spicy, add more until it's the perfect spice-level for you.

    Spicy Honey Butter Pro Tips:

    • Store hot honey butter in an airtight container in the fridge when you aren't serving it. 
    • Honey butter should last up to 1 month in the fridge if kept cold.
    • Put honey butter out about 30 minutes before serving to soften.

    • ½ cup butter softened
    • 2 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
    • ¼ cup hot honey I use mike's hot honey
    • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, to taste

    Instructions

    • Add softened butter to a small mixing bowl.
    • Add heavy whipping cream and hot honey.
    • With a hand mixer, whip the honey butter until it is well-mixed, light, and fluffy.
    • Add red pepper flakes to taste, start with a little bit and add more until you have your desired level of spicy honey butter.
