Last time I shared freezer meals with you guys I got such overwhelming positive feedback. You all totally motivate me to be better. I have a goal this year to have a freezer cooking session at least once a month where I make at least 10 meals. Each month I will share the recipes I made as well as a free printable grocery list! Today, along with January's recipes and grocery list, I thought I would share the method I use when doing my freezer sessions with a little photo tutorial for all you first timers. I have found this way of doing things to be super fast and effective, so I hope you find it to be that way too! By the way, my friend Pam from Over the Big Moon and I like to plan (and sometimes assemble) our freezer meals together, so she is also posting a freezer cooking post today with some of the same meals if you want to check it out!

So easy right?? Now it's time for the recipes!

    1.) Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff
    *Recipe adapted from All Recipes

1 lb cubed beef stew meat
1 10.75 ounce can condensed golden mushroom soup
    ½ cup chopped onion
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    ¼ cup water
    4 oz cream cheese
    serve w/egg noodles or rice
-Add everything in your freezer bag except your cream cheese. When ready to eat, defrost bag just enough to dump in slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 5. Stir in cream cheese 30 minutes before ready to serve and cook your rice or noodles. Enjoy!
    2.) Cafe Rio Crock-Pot Chicken
*Recipe adapted from Chef in Training
    2 lbs chicken
½ small bottle of zesty italian dressing
    ½ tablespoon minced garlic
    1 pkt ranch dressing mix
    ½ cup water
    ½ tablespoon chili powder
    ½tbsp ground cumin
-Place all ingredients in your freezer bag. When ready to eat, defrost just enough to dump in slow cooker. Cook on high 5-6 hours or  on low for 8 hours. Shred w/fork and serve how ever you want!

3.) Sweet Baby Rays Crock-Pot Chicken
*Recipe adapted from Just a Pinch

    4-6 chicken thighs
1 small bottle Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce
    ¼ cup vinegar
    1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    ¼ cup brown sugar
    1 teaspoon minced garlic
-Place all ingredients in your freezer bag and mix well. When ready to eat, defrost just enough to dump in slow cooker. Cook on low 4-6 hours or on high for 3 hours. I serve with mashed or baked potatoes.
    4.) Sweet and Tangy Meatballs
40 or so meatballs (you can buy regular ones at the store or make your own)
    16 oz grape jelly
    20 oz BBQ sauce
-Split all your ingredients between two freezer bags. When ready to eat thaw just enough to dump in slow cooker and cook on low for 2-4 hours. Serve warm over rice or noodles.
    5.) Teriyaki Chicken
    4-6 chicken thighs
    1 cup Teriyaki Sauce (I use Yoshida's)
    ⅔ cup brown sugar
    3 cloves garlic
    1 cup water
    1 slice ginger
-Place all ingredients in your freezer bag. When ready to eat, thaw just enough to dump in slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

If you are planning on making all of the same meals I did you can use this free printable shopping list to get everything you need! I made two of each recipe, to make ten meals total, so that is what the list reflects!

Even though it takes a bit of work up front, it has been so liberating to have these meals in the freezer for busy or stressful days! I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do!

Oh my, this looks amazing! I might just have to make a few of these. I love having meals in my freezer, I just never know which ones work to freeze, and which ones are "right away" meals. Thanks for posting this!

This is so awesome! We're running *quite* low on groceries, so I think I'm going to try these meals this month when I go grocery shopping! I have no time to cook these days, so the slow cooker is a lifesaver. And every meal sounds really good, too. Now just to make room in that overstuffed freezer of mine... :)
