Want an amazing protein smoothie using the best plant based protein powder? Get excited, because this peanut butter and jelly smoothie is unbelievably delicious!

This post is sponsored by Booty Bands and Barbells. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

two peanut butter and jelly smoothies with raspberries for garnishWhen I think about a timeless flavor combination peanut butter and jelly always come to mind! I recently discovered the BEST plant based protein powder from Booty Bands and Barbells, and our whole family has been loving it in smoothies. I hope this peanut butter and jelly smoothie becomes a new favorite for your family, too.

Peanut Butter Smoothie

You can’t go wrong with any kind of peanut butter smoothie. If peanut butter and jelly doesn’t sound like your jam, you definitely need to try our Chocolate Peanut Butter Power Smoothie or our Copycat Chunky Strawberry Bowl!

Even our pickiest eaters love these recipes, and they are a great way to sneak in protein and nutrients.

Best Plant Based Protein Powder

Before we get to this recipe I have to take a minute to tell you about this amazing plant based protein powder! My kids and I are not huge meat lovers, and sometimes it can be difficult to get enough protein into our diets. I prefer not to give my kids too much whey protein, but most of the plant based kinds we have tried just did not taste good.

Enter this Booty Bands and Barbells Plant Based Vanilla protein powder!! It is SO DANG GOOD. Here are a few of the things I love about it:

  • First and foremost, taste. I am super picky when it comes to protein drinks and flavors and this is by far the best tasting plant based protein powder I’ve tried.
  • It is sourced from almonds, and has a really nice smooth texture. It isn’t grainy like some powders I’ve tried.
  • Made in the USA and uses all organic ingredients.
  • Each serving is only 80 calories, with 15 grams of protein and only 4 carbs!! I couldn’t believe it, as most plant based protein drinks are high carb.
  • Contains all 9 essential amino acids.

Discount Code:

Booty Bands has graciously offered us a discount code, so if you want to try it out for yourself you can with the code prettyprovidence12 for 12% off! Click here to order yours today.

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 3/4 Cup Frozen Berries
  • 1 Cup Milk of Your Choice
  • 1/8 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 4 Cubes Ice

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to blender and blend to combine.

Notes

Pro Tips:
  • I prefer to use almond milk to lower calories and keep the smoothie plant based, but you can use any kind of milk you want! We have made it with regular milk as well as Fairlife milk and loved all three ways. You could also use water.
  • If you would like your smoothie to have a thicker, more ice cream like consistency, use 1/2 cup instead of 1 full cup of liquid.
