NEW DAD GIFT IDEA
Being a new mom is not the only thing that is completely draining and exhausting. Being a new dad can be equally difficult in its own right! When we had our first baby, I wanted to make my husband a new dad gift. I wanted his gift basket to be fun, but most importantly I wanted to show him how much I appreciate his commitment to our little family. He may not have carried the baby, but he did a lot of extra things to help me the whole time I was. That is no easy feat, I can assure you!
This 'World's Greatest Pop' gift can work for an expectant father gift, or for a seasoned dad - it's perfect for Father's Day or just whenever you want to show appreciation to the best 'pop' ever!
WORLD'S BEST POP GIFT BASKET
I decided to go with the "pop" theme because I had never seen it done before, and coincidentally my man loves a lot of things that have "pop" in them! I was able to do a pretty good mix of sweet and salty snacks.
Items Needed:
- Basket
- Tissue Paper
- Basket fillers (you can find a big list below)
Cost: This whole gift cost around $25.
How to Assemble a Gift Basket:
- Use a large basket. I found this Easter basket at Target in March (timing is everything!) but you can usually find baskets year-round at thrift stores!
- Add tissue paper, tea towels, or basket liners to the bottom of the basket.
- Layer your goods in the basket, trying to display as many different items as you can.
- Use balled-up tissue paper under smaller items to add height.
- Print the 'World's Greatest Pop' tag and tie it or tape it to the front of the gift basket.
I hope you love this gift basket idea. Growing a family is hard work for everyone, and Dads deserve appreciation too!
If you make this new dad gift we would love it if you leave us a comment and positive review! They mean a lot to us!
