    Hey everyone! This year for Independence Day, we got together with friends. It was really fun, and it gave me an excuse to put together a fun 4th of July snack board! I have to say it was a total hit with the group. We also had a Watermelon Cake. Creamy Fruit Salad, and made Homemade Blackberry Ice Cream that weekend!     4th of July Snacks Charcuterie

    Items needed

    • Charcuterie Board
    • Star Cookie Cutter
    • Toothpicks

    4th of July snacks for a charcuterie board with red, white and blue foods - crackers, meat, cheeses and fruit.

    Ingredients

    • Strawberries
    • Raspberries
    • Cherry tomatoes
    • Blueberries
    • Blackberries
    • Grapes
    • Salami
    • Pepperoni
    • Havarti with dill
    • Muenster
    • Gouda
    • Mozzarella
    • Blueberry preserves

    Don't hesitate to trade out any of the snacks I've listed here for other things if you don't like them or can't find the same things at your grocery store. The beauty of a charcuterie board is that you can cater it to your preferences, budget, and what is available in your area.

    How to Assemble the Snack Board

    1. Wash the fruit and allow it to dry completely. We always use this vinegar fruit wash.
    2. Slice cheese into squares and then cut each in half into triangles.
    3. Cut mozzarella into cubes or scoop it into little balls. Put mozzarella onto toothpicks with cherry tomatoes.
    4. Put blueberry preserves into a small dish.
    5. Cut some of the cheese slices into star shapes with a cookie cutter.
    6. Put bowls onto the board first, then arrange fruit, crackers, meats, and cheeses around them.
