This is the EASIEST Creamy Fruit Salad recipe, perfect for any occasion and a total crowd-pleaser.

Fruit Salad made of granny smith apples, blueberries, strawberries with dollops of cool whip on top
Our whole family loves this fruit salad with Cool Whip. As you can probably guess, you can change which fruits you use based on your preferences. I do think that Granny Smith Apples are amazing with Cool Whip though- it’s just the right combination of tart and sweet. You might also want to check out this Easy Fruit Salad recipe, our very popular Orange Fluff Salad, or if Pomegranates are in season, this Pomegranate Apple Creamy Fruit Salad recipe! Ingredients

  • Granny Smith Apples
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Frozen Whipped Topping (I use Cool Whip)

I like to serve most salads and sides in white serving bowls.

Instructions

Wash and dry fruit. I like to use this vinegar fruit wash to prep fruit beforehand.

Step by step for making fruit salad with Cool Whip, granny smith apples, strawberries and blueberries

  1. Chop apples and strawberries into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix 2/3 of the chopped apples with about 1 cup of cool whip. Fold in 2/3 of the strawberries and blueberries.
  3. Add a layer of cool whip over the top of the creamy fruit mixture.
  4. Put the remaining fruit on top of the Cool whip layer. Serve immediately!

Optional: Garnish with a few dollops of extra cool whip.

PRO TIPS FOR FRUIT SALAD WITH COOL WHIP

  • The amount of fruit you use can vary. Don’t worry about exact measurements, just put in as much of each fruit as you like.
  • If you aren’t serving immediately, keep the salad refrigerated until ready to serve.
  • If you need to make this ahead of time, try to serve it within an hour or two of making it. (After a while, the apples will brown and start to get soggy.)
