Our fruit dip with cream cheese is legitimately my kids favorite thing I make. It is constantly requested by friends and neighbors. If you desire local accolades, make this fruit dip.

I make this dip basically every time I get invited to a party or gathering. I say this to prepare you, because once you bring it anywhere it will be requested on repeat.

The good news is, it could not be easier to whip together.

If you aren't in the mood for fruit dip, a few other party favorites are our Fresh Corn Salsa, our Bruschetta Dip, or our Cranberry and Feta Pinwheels.

    Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

Now onto the star of the show... our beautiful three ingredient cream cheese fruit dip. All you need is cream cheese, Cool Whip, and powdered sugar.

Fruit Dip With Cream Cheese Tips and Tricks

    • Be sure to set your cream cheese out to soften about 30-45 minutes before you plan to prepare your dip. This helps your dip blend smoothly and without lumps.
    • Make ahead: Another great thing about this dip is that it can easily be prepped ahead of time. Stores great in the fridge for up to 5 days.
    • Can I make a lighter version of this dip? Yes! We frequently substitute light cool whip depending on what we have on hand. You can also sub for low fat cream cheese, but this will change the flavor to be a little tangier and make the consistency slightly looser as well.

    How To Make Fruit Dip

I wasn't exaggerating when I said this dip couldn't be easier. You ready for the proof?

Four step by step numbered photos showing how to make fruit dip in a Bosch food processor.
    1. Grab out a Bosch mixer or large bowl and beaters. Add in softened cream cheese.
    2. Add in the entire tub of Cool Whip.
    3. Add in about two cups of powdered sugar.
    4. Mix all ingredients together. Taste, and add more powdered sugar until dip is the flavor and consistency you prefer. We usually use about 2 ½-3 cups.
