Cherry limeade is a summer staple at our house and this cherry limeade recipe cannot be beat!
During the summer, Sarah and I both sound like broken records complaining about the heat! Even though we live across the country from each other, we both live where it is scorching HOT. Because of that, we love trading our favorite drink recipes- and this cherry limeade is at the tippy top of my favorites list this year!
Why is this cherry limeade recipe the best? Well, it is easy, cheap to make, and I’ve never met anyone who didn’t completely obsess over it. That it is the world’s best cherry limeade is no exaggeration… in my humble opinion. ;)

I first fell in love with cherry limeade after I had Sonic’s classic rendition, so I knew I had to make a copycat version for myself!
Is there soda in Sonic Cherry Limeade?
Yup! Sonic makes their cherry limeade by mixing Sprite with cherries and their juices just like this recipe!

I am kind of a freak about pebble ice (I love it so much!) so when I am in charge of the beverage on any special occasion I jump at the chance to buy a bag from the local gas station! But it is definitely not a mandatory ingredient, just a fun one! Someday I want to buy this pebble ice machine… someday!
This recipe was originally adapted from this recipe but it was just WAY too tart for me, hence the changes! If you like a super tart limeade then you will definitely want to check out the original variation though!
