Cheesy breakfast pizza is a delicious, easy breakfast recipe your family will love.

Breakfast Pizza with Crescent Rolls

Pizza for Breakfast? Yes, you guys. This is not your cold, day-old kind of pizza for breakfast. This is pizza meant for breakfast, with cheese, veggies, bacon and eggs! It’s a balanced meal! My family loves it, especially my daughter, who likes to help me sprinkle the toppings on top. The best part is that this recipe is super easy to make and feeds a crowd.

Ingredients for Breakfast Pizza:

    • Eggs
    • Cheddar cheese
    • Parmesan cheese
    • Bacon
    • Tomatoes
    • Green onions
    • Crescent Rolls

How to Make Breakfast Pizza

First, stretch and roll crescent roll dough over a prepared pizza pan or cookie sheet. Make sure the seams are pressed together tightly.

Sprinkle cheese and green onions over the dough, leaving 3 inch spots open for eggs.

Breakfast Pizza Eggs and Bacon

Ahhh look how beautiful it is! So cheesy. So delicious.

Do you need to cook the bacon before putting it on pizza?

Yes, to make sure the bacon or any breakfast meat is cooked through, cook it before putting it on top of your breakfast pizza.

What are some alternative toppings for breakfast pizza?

This recipe is great because you can switch it up and add your favorite cheeses, sausage or other breakfast meats, and more veggies if you want to!

  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzarella
  • Bacon
  • Sausage
  • Spinach
  • Bell Peppers
  • Sliced Jalapeños
  • Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent rolls
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/3 cup green onions
  • 1 plum tomato diced
  • 6 slices bacon pre-cooked
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF.
  • Pat and stretch dough into a circle on a pizza pan sprayed with cooking spray; brush with olive oil.
  • Top with 1 cup cheese and half the onions, leaving 4 (3-inch) areas of dough untopped. (Eggs will be added here.)
  • Crack eggs, 1 at a time, into small bowl, then slip onto dough.
  • Top dough with tomatoes, bacon, remaining cheese and onions, being careful to avoid topping the eggs.
  • Bake 23 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown and eggs are done.

Notes

You can use a regular cookie sheet for this instead of a pizza pan, just make the dough into a rectangle instead!

I would have loved to have had a yummy runny egg on here but unfortunately at 23 minutes mine was basically a hard boiled egg. Next time I’ll wait and put the eggs on after it bakes for half the time. Other parts were tasty just not the same with out the saucy gooeyness of the egg.

Looks yummy! I’m so picky about eggs though… To get the crust cooked, did the egg go rubbery?

No – I was worried about this too but I didn’t think they were rubbery! Then again, everyone likes their eggs different!? I like mine fully cooked, but I could have taken them out sooner if I had wanted. Since I wanted mine so well done, the crust got a little darker than it needed to.

Awesome! Going to give it a try :) (I forgot you were pregnant and can’t have runny eggs!)
