    This Chicken and Stuffing Bake is one of our family favorites. It's the perfect weeknight sheet pan dinner recipe because it is so easy to make!

    Need an easy and delicious dinner idea for those busy weeknights? Look no further. Our chicken and stuffing bake is filling, packed with flavor, and super quick to throw together.

    I have been making this recipe since I was a teenager to help my mom. I’ve made this dish countless times and it never fails to satisfy.

    • Chicken Breasts
    • Stuffing Mix
    • Jack cheese
    • Cream of Chicken Soup
    • Cream of Celery Soup

    How to make this Chicken and Stuffing Bake

    1.Prepare a sheet pan with cooking spray. 

    2. Lay chicken breasts on the sheet and top them with sliced jack cheese.

    3. Mix the cream of chicken soup and cream of celery soup, then spoon the mixture onto the chicken breasts.

    4. Top the chicken breasts with stuffing mix. Bake at 350° Fahrenheit for 60 minutes or until chicken is cooked through - at least 165° Fahrenheit.

    There are so many different variations on this recipe, the possibilities really are endless, but here are a few fun variations you might like.

    Tex-Mex Style Stuffing: Create a Tex-Mex inspired stuffing with black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, and shredded cheese. Top the chicken with this mixture for a southwestern twist.

    Mediterranean Couscous Stuffing: Replace traditional bread stuffing with couscous cooked in chicken broth. Add ingredients like sun-dried tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, and fresh herbs for a Mediterranean flavor profile.

    Cranberry and Pecan Stuffing: Mix dried cranberries, chopped pecans, orange zest, and breadcrumbs for a stuffing that offers a delightful balance of sweet and nutty flavors. It pairs wonderfully with baked chicken.

    How to store leftover Baked Chicken and Stuffing

    Refrigeration: Place the leftovers in airtight containers or resealable plastic bags. Refrigerate the leftovers promptly, ideally within two hours of cooking. Leftover baked chicken and stuffing should be consumed within 3-4 days if properly stored in the refrigerator.

    This easy Chicken and Stuffing bake is one of our go-to weeknight dinners. The whole family loves it this easy stove top stuffing casserole!

    Ingredients

    • 3 lb. chicken breasts
    • 1 can cream of chicken soup
    • 1 can cream of celery soup
    • Stovetop stuffing chicken flavor
    • ¼ cup butter melted
    • Monterrey Jack cheese

    Instructions

    • Spray a cookie sheet with pam.
    • Lay thawed chicken on pan and top with thin slices of cheese.
    • In a bowl mix together both soups and spoon over cheese.
    • Sprinkle with seasoning and then layer the bread on top.
    • Sprinkle with melted butter.
    • Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
    • Enjoy this chicken stuffing bake!

      I think the directions are a little vague. Do you use the whole box of stuffing? Boneless, skinless breasts? Also, the cheese melts and everything slides off. It was very good tasting tho

        Yes, the whole box of stuffing mix! Though you could do more or less if you like. Yes, boneless skinless chicken breasts. It definitely can be a little melty I just scoop the mixture back on top of each breast if needed.
