This is the best Chinese chicken salad with oriental salad dressing. Our whole family loves it and it's one of our go-to salads to take to parties and potlucks!

The best ever Chinese chicken salad with homemade oriental salad dressing! Perfect for any party or get together, or just for an easy healthy dinner!

My mom has been making this Chinese Chicken Salad for as long as I can remember! Even as a little kid we loved it because, hey, it has ramen noodles in it! Now, as an adult I love it, because it packs in the veggies and tastes like heaven!

Chinese chicken salad is also a great party salad because it makes a ton and is super cheap to throw together! Whenever I have to decide what to bring to a potluck, I either bring this, BBQ Chicken Salad or Spiralized Greek Salad! This is my #1 though, the easy homemade Oriental salad dressing takes the whole thing over the top!

How to make Chinese chicken salad:

Chinese chicken salad is so easy to make! All you do is chop up all your ingredients and toss them together in a bowl! I like to use a rotisserie chicken because not only does it make things super easy but the flavor is delicious!

What goes in a Chinese chicken salad?

My version has cabbage, grapes, chicken, green onions, ramen noodles, and cashews! If you don't love any of those ingredients though you can easily leave them out or sub them for something else you like! Other ideas are peppers, oranges, slivered almonds, crunchy wantons, really the sky is the limit!

Oriental Salad Dressing

If you don't want to make the homemade Oriental salad dressing you can use store bought, but I highly recommend making this recipe! It really takes the salad over the top and it is SO GOOD. Definitely my favorite part of this salad is this Oriental dressing.

I like to make mine in a small mason jar, then just shake up the ingredients and store it all in the same place!
