I love chocolate and pretzel treats. The combination of sweet and salty is just perfect, in my humble opinion.
Since Halloween pretzel hugs are SO easy to make, and the flavors are divine, they have been a staple in our home for years!
The hardest part of making these is unwrapping all of the Hershey's Hugs. So what I'm saying is, it's not hard at all!
You'll be surprised how quickly the whole batch will disappear...
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200 F. Unwrap all of the hugs.
- Place pretzels on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and top each one with a hug.
- Put pretzels in the oven until the hugs are shiny and soft, but not fully melted. 4-5 minutes.
- Place two candy eyeballs into the soft chocolate, and put the pan in the fridge so they can cool completely before serving.
Pro Tips
- Allow the pretzel hugs to cool completely before transferring to another plate or serving them. Once they are cool they will keep their shape.
- Store Pretzel Hugs in an airtight container in a cool, dry area.
These pretzel treats are super fun to "boo" your neighbors with or bring to a party! It doesn't get easier than this.

So cute! How far in advance can you make these for a party?
Sarah
I'm not sure. I'd say at least a day or two before - they should be fine if you store them in an air-tight container!
