Need a fun gift idea for a dance or cheer team? These fans are cute and easy to put together. You could also use electric fans if you have that in the budget.

Several oriental fans spread out on the counter with gift tags attached. If you have been around for awhile you may know that I have three sons and one daughter. My daughter loves dance and has been dancing competitively for a few years now. I’ve gotten to be her team mom the last few years and it has been so much fun to share this with her.

Fan Gift Idea

As a team mom one of the responsibilites is to make little “good luck” or “good job” gifts before competitions and at the end of the dance season. I’ve made so many of these and finally I thought maybe I should start sharing the ideas so other busy moms can benefit too.

If you are looking for more easy ideas our “I love you more than chocolate” Candy bar wrappers or our fun “Mistletoes” Christmas gift idea were big hits, too.  You can also browse through our general Gallery of Gift Ideas here.

Dance Team Gift Idea

I used my Cricut Maker to write and cut these cute tags out, but if you don’t own a cutting machine you can easily just choose a cute font and type up your message and copy and paste. Either way I would use cardstock so they are more sturdy.

Steps for making a "biggest fan" gift tag using a cricut machine. After you have made your tags, simply cut them out, and use a single hole punch to make a hole in the corner and attach to your fans using string or ribbon.

These are the fans I used. They are a great deal, just a little over a dollar a piece, and have held up really well. Handheld fans are so pretty and fun, especially for younger girls.

If you have more budget or are buying for less kids these mini handheld battery powered fans are AWESOME too.

Closed fans with gift tags attached on a countertop. In the summer you can sometimes find the spray bottle/fan combos at Walmart or the Dollar Store as well.

If you made these gifts and liked them we’d love for you to leave us a positive comment or review, they mean so much to us.
