How adorable is this Thanksgiving turkey cheese platter?! It was literally SO easy to throw together, not to mention festive and delicious! I am a sucker for all things festive! The holiday season is hands down my favorite time of the year, and having kids of my own to celebrate with has only amplified my love! I must have passed down my festivity because my little ones get just as excited as I do about silly themed things… like this cute Thanksgiving turkey cheese platter!

How adorable is this Thanksgiving turkey cheese platter?! It was literally SO easy to throw together, not to mention festive and delicious! A cheese platter is such an easy appetizer for family parties and get togethers! I love how easy it is to throw together (like, literally your kids could do it) and I think everyone else enjoys them as much as we do because they seem to disappear super fast every time I bring one!

How adorable is this Thanksgiving turkey cheese platter?! It was literally SO easy to throw together, not to mention festive and delicious! Turning this cheese tray into a cute little turkey was just as easy as it was fun! I will tell you exactly what I used below, but you could customize him so easily with whatever you have on hand, which is basically what I did to begin with!

Ingredients

  • assorted crackers
  • assorted sliced cheeses
  • assorted deli meats
  • 6 walnut pieces thinly sliced
  • 1 cashew
  • 1 bacon bit cut in half

Instructions

  • For my turkey I worked from the outside in! So get a large platter and begin by lining the edges with cracker "feathers". Next up cut or fold your deli meats to an appropriate size and layer those as well. Finish with sliced cheeses. To make the "turkey" sit up level with the rest, I did a few layers of cheese on top of each other and placed the body of the turkey on top. I used cheese for the body, wings and head of the turkey, walnut slivers for the feet, a cut up bacon bit for the eyes, a cashew for the beak, and a slice of pepperoni for the gobbler!

Notes

Save leftovers in the fridge for 7-10 days!
