Make a Lego Valentines Box for kids' class Valentines parties with just a shoebox and construction paper!

Lego Valentines Box

The Lego obsession is strong in our family. I decided to make a Lego Valentines Box for my kids' Valentine's parties this year. I had to! It goes along perfectly with their Lego Valentines Cards (free printable.)

This Valentines box is really easy to make and it's unique! Plus, you can let your kid choose their favorite color since Lego bricks come in every color.

How to Make a Lego Valentine Box

Wrap the shoebox with construction paper.
Use hot glue to secure the construction paper to the box as you wrap it.
Wrap the lid separately so that you will be able to open and close the box.)
Cut six 2.5 inch diameter circles using a fiskars circle cutter.

5. With a paper cutter, cut six strips of paper to 1¼ inch by 8 inches.
6. Make a strip of paper into a 2.5-diameter ring using tacky glue to secure it.
7. Adhere the paper ring to a circle with glue along the edges.
8. Let the glue dry and repeat until you have six.

Carefully put hot glue on the bottom edges of the circles and place them on the top of the wrapped box.

I didn't want to put a slot in the top of the box, so this one just opens and closes on the side. If you do want to make a slot in the top, I recommend using a sharp utility knife for a clean cut.

Use hot glue to secure the construction paper to the box as you wrap it.
With a Fiskars paper cutter, six strips of paper to 1¼ inch by 8 inches.
Cut six 2.5 inch diameter circles using a fiskars circle cutter.
Make a strip of paper into a ring 2.5" diameter and use tacky glue secure it.
Adhere the ring of paper to a circle with glue along the edges.
Let the glue dry and repeat until you have six.
Use hot glue to adhere the rings to the top of the wrapped box.
