Have you heard of or wondered about Balance of Nature supplements? Or looked for Balance of Nature reviews but couldn't find much? Well, this post is for you. Gear up for everything you ever wanted to know about the Balance of Nature whole health system!

Note: I was given product to try out, with no promise that I would choose to write a post. Well, I decided to write this, and all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. This post includes affiliate links, so if you do decide to purchase using our discount code we receive a small percentage.

A few months ago we invited some friends over for dinner and the topic came around to health. At this point, our friend shared that he was taking Balance of Nature supplements and he thought that we might like them, too. Honestly, I was a little skeptical at first, because I don’t believe in quick and easy health solutions. It turns out, that isn’t really what Balance of Nature is at all.

We believe in eating healthy recipes like our super easy protein balls, the best EVER broccoli seasoning, healthy buffalo chicken bowls, or our spinach berry smoothie. Also in exercising regularly, and working hard to teach our picky eaters how to eat better.

    Balance of Nature Review

After doing a little bit more research, I decided to try these products for myself, and I’m really glad I did. Below I will talk a bit about what Balance of Nature is, the pros and cons to the system, and why ultimately I choose to buy them.

Plus, we have a discount code for you guys if you decide to try out a whole health system for yourself.

fruit and veggie capsules on a white marble countertop surrounded by fruit and supplements

Balance of Nature does not claim to cure or treat any disease, rather they are making it easier to get the vital nutrients fruits and vegetables provide us into our bodies so that our bodies can repair themselves.

The fruit and veggie capsules are made by a unique system of flash drying fruits and vegetables. Dr. Howard extensively researched “which fruits and vegetables, when combined, were most effective in 1) Strenthening your Immune System, 2) Cell Protection, and 3) DNA Repair and Apoptosis. Finally in 1997, tireless hours of research culminated in a unique formulation or 31 fruits and vegetables.” These vegetables are the same ones used in Balance of Natures capsules today.

Quote taken from Balance of Nature’s “From the Beginning” pamphlet.

Balance of Nature Pros and Cons

Now that you have a little background info, let’s get into the pros and cons.

the Balance of Nature vitamins on a white marble counter next to spinach and berries

    Pros:

    • These products have no fillers, no extracts, no hormones, no preservatives, no isolates, no added sugar, no pesticides, no additives of any kind. They are 100% real nutrients from real fruits and veggies, period.
    • The fiber and spice drink helps to maintain bowel health, ease constipation (without causing diarrhea), decreases inflammation, helps balance blood sugar and cholesterol levels, and can even lead to weight loss. For me, bowel health and a massive reduction in inflammation and bloating were the first things I noticed after I started the Balance of Nature supplements. My soreness after exercising also went way down.
    • When you become a Preferred Customer (which is the cheapest way to buy products, and you can cancel anytime), the company assigns you a personal Health Coach who helps you create a plan to improve your health in three categories: physical, spiritual, and chemical. Once I knew I was going to write this post, I decided to go ahead with the health coaching. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to it, but I wanted to be able to speak to the full experience the company offers. It was actually a really positive experience. My coach asked about my health history and made a few recommendations on how I can get the most out of my products. Then, we set a goal in each category and set a follow up appointment. I hung up feeling motivated to improve my health, and follow through with my goals since I would have to report back at the next phone call. If health coaching is not something you are interested in, no one will pressure you, and you can always decide to make an appointment later on like I did.
    • The products are completely safe for children or adults. I like to break open the capsules and add them to my kids food (especially for the ones too little to swallow these larger pills) – more on that below.
    • Balance of Nature products are safe to cook with. You can add both the fiber or the veggie capsules into juices, smoothies, baked goods, etc.
    • You cannot overdose, or misuse these products as they are 100% real produce.
    • I have more energy, clearer skin, and a better ability to focus on the task at hand. I have NEVER been a morning person in my life, but now I am consistently getting up at 6:30 every day.
    • They boost immune system. I have definitely noticed this as well, I haven’t been sick once since I started taking the Balance of Nature vitamins. I am really interested to see how this coming winter will go!

    Cons:

    • The first con is expense. Obviously, the whole health system is not a small monthly expense. After feeling as good as I do while taking them, and knowing all the other good things going on internally that I can’t even measure, we have decided the money is worth it to us right now. There is also a 30 day money back guarantee if you want to try it and see how you feel.
    • The fiber drink is gross. My kids still tease me about my face the first time I drank it, haha! I could hardly get it down. That being said, I hardly notice it at all now, and I drink it down no problem! My health coach said that lots of people like it better mixed with almond milk or apple juice, but I don’t prefer to drink my calories so I just stick with water. I love the results of the fiber drink now though, and don’t know if I could ever give it up. So, it is worth it, but don’t expect it to taste good.
    • I wish the nutrition info said exactly what daily percentages of each nutrient was in each serving, but they don’t.

    Balance of Nature

Real quickly, let’s talk a little bit about each component of the whole health system. I have a few tips I’ve learned that I would like to share.

BON fruit and veggie capsules surrounded by fresh fruits and veggies

Because I am in generally good health, my coach instructed me to take the regular dose. The normal dose is three veggie capsules and three fruit capsules each day along with the fiber drink.

You can easily increase this as needed. For example, I have asthma, so if that is acting up I would double my dose until the worst has passed.

    Veggie Capsules

I prefer to simply swallow my veggie capsules with water. If you have trouble swallowing pills, they can also be added into any savory food, like an omelet, or our perfectly seasoned ground beef.

veggie capsules in container on a white counter by some spinach

Also, my health coach told me that if I feel myself beginning to get sick or feeling sluggish, to make a broth of my veggie capsules by mixing them into hot water. I actually enjoyed them this way as well. It kind of tastes like a spicy spinach soup, but it was very soothing on my throat. Also, I do feel like I felt the positive side effects sooner this way.

BON veggie capsules diluted in water in a clear mug with a spoon sticking out

Simply twist the capsules apart and tap them into your hot water.

    Fruit Capsules

While I typically just swallow my fruit capsules as well (because, laziness), they taste a lot better. You can chew them up, or if you don't want to swallow the capsule you can empty them straight into your mouth. When taken this way, they kind of taste like fruit leather in powder form.

fruit capsules on a white tea towel next to a smoothie bowl and a spoon

I also love emptying a few fruits into smoothies or applesauce for my kids. Here is one of our favorite smoothie bowl recipes if you need one!

    Fiber and Spice

I mentioned earlier I didn't love the taste of the fiber and spice. However, I noticed it's positive results in my body quickly. I don't know if this is oversharing, but if you have loose stools this binds them. If you are constipated, it will fix that too. Basically, it just helps regulate you in either direction.

Balance of Nature fiber and spice on a white counter surrounded by fruit

I also noticed pretty immediate positive effects when it comes to less bloating and less inflammation in my body. Guys, this stuff works wonders.

My friend Anna posted about another way she likes to take her fiber, in smoothie form! Check out her recipe here.

fiber and spice mixed in a clear glass next between the container and a white towel with a spoon sticking out

I drink mine in water once a day.

I went to Oregon State University, where the 'freeze dry' process was invented and perfected. When the water is removed, the physical mass remains. So, 3 capsules equals less than a single bite of an apple.
Physical mass does not shrink, just the water is removed.
The claims of multiple amounts of fruits per capsule, or ten capsules, is false.

I am having trouble getting my fruits and veggies before I run out. They usually take out for mine around the 16th of the month. Last deduction was 3/16. They have not deducted at all for this month. I took my last capsules about 3 days ago.
      Thank you for your help.

My husband and I have been taking BON for two years and have even visited their headquarters and have been impressed with all aspects of this company. There will always be naysayers and that is ok.

We believe in preventing disease instead of expensive treatments so that makes the cost worth it. We both work full time and this is an easy way to get our nutrition in. Our kids enjoy them as well.

As a retired Doctor in Nutrition and Biochemistry, I find this to be nothing but an easy way to misrepresent and make lots of money instead of buying real fresh vegetables and eating healthy than allowing the digestive system to become lazy. The “inventor” talks about colors! OK, green is in grass too, Is grass healthy if we eat it. But the overall scientific critique is how much fruit and vegetables can you freeze dry into a capsule that holds less than a gram of filler? The price is ridiculous and for nearly $90 you can buy a trunk load of veggies and fruits and enjoy cooking them or eating them. Simply, there is no science in freeze drying of cheap bulk purchased fruits and vegetables. This is a farce and a quick way for the manufacturer to enrich his company while you pop pills that you know nothing about the content origin since the FDA is not involved. Absolutely ridiculous and non-scientific.

Conmen everywhere should take note the message of Balance of Nature to sell expensive pills and powders that are found in common foods at your grocery store. Claims and advertizing are given as "evidence" of the effectiveness of this product, no studies, no literature reviews to back their health & benefit claims. Buy a blender and make veggie and fruit smoothies.

I think you wrote a nice review of Balance of Nature. I just started taking mine so I don't yet know if there will be a difference in the way I feel, but I sure hope so. There's always someone who wants to be a critic and talk bad about a product they haven't even tried. Although, the post that someone else left about the number of calories and how much actual fruit and veggies they put in the capsules was interesting and has me thinking about that myself. Oh well, if they don't work then I wasted $70.

Jessica, I'm afraid that your answer about Balance of Nature's new product labels is incorrect.
Look at the new labels. They do list ingredients but nothing about vitamins and minerals delivered.
The only information they give is "calories" per 3 capsules and "carbs" per 3 capsules.
Actually they have a huge problem in reporting the calories per 3 capsules.
The say 3 fruit capsules only have only 10 calories.
Dehydration (freeze drying, flash drying) only removes water. NOT calories. Look it up.
So those reported 10 calories total in 3 capsules proves that very little fruit was used in the process of making the end product powder in the capsules..
This product with three capsules of fruit, 10 calories... is less than 1/9 th of a single medium apple that has 95 calories. Meaning it would take 27 fruit capsules to equal one medium apple.
The three veggie capsules with only 5 calories total, looks even worse.
A single carrot has 25 calories yet the 3 capsules only have 5 calories.
Look up "dehydration" and see the proof that NO calories are lost in that process.
Balance of Nature claims they give you "ten servings of fruits and vegetables, but the label indicates you'd be lucky to get even one single serving of produce in the daily dose ( 6 capsules)
Please inform the people trusting your review about this huge flaw in Balance of Nature's claims.
You need to be honest about the facts... Don't mislead your followers. That would be wrong.
Potential buyers could be deceived by Balance of Natures proven false claims.

Do you plan on supporting your comment with evidence, or are you just angry? Your opinion is of little importance, whereas a fact-based assertion is of tremendous merit. It would be to your benefit to offer the latter in the future.

This is nothing more than a low dose vitamin pill that does not give you any information on what vitamins and minerals you are actually getting. Their marketing strategy is brilliant. They are doing a great job pulling the wool over their gullible customers' eyes.

I just got my first order. I called to ask about the number of servings of fruits and vegetables and was told 13. But I don't know how many of each. The bottles I got do NOT list the percentages of vitamins and minerals and they don't publish them as I track everything I eat in a Fitbit app which DOES break down all known foods by nutrients, vitamins, minerals. These didn't change any of those numbers. I think they really ought be telling us, and publishing those numbers. Far too soon to tell if there's any energy benefit, but I'll try them for a few months, annual physical and lab tests in June (I'm 72) so I'll know if there's been any effect for certain then.

To leave a false article not to use strong suggestion, it gives a person energy, healing, a healthy. This is a multi vitamin psychologically has been proven if you believe in a product, you convince yourself how this for an example heal, and cure. The FDA had a huge issue, when suggested by this company it healed diabetes. I would google to see yourself from googling this product.
The FDA who usually do not get involved with something such as a vitamin that is not regulated by them. Also that FDA shared out not an every capsule has the same amount of fruit and vegetables! The concept is good on how they extract and as any multivitamin does promote energy , for a few dollars why not buy a multivitamin then buy a vitamin that is not guaranteed that it has the same amount of nutrient in every pill.
They stepped really low in my eyes, using a child with cerebral palsy leaving you a suggestive thinking these vitamins really help out a child who has a sad medial illness. People who has themselves this is a cure all, the only thing I do give an A, it will give you energy but every true cheap several dollar multi vitamin has the same ingredients gives you get in each capsule the same. Close to 100 bucks is really sad they can run this AD and more people fall for their propaganda, the same response I don’t mind these fake ads people who are brain washed these really work, it’s their life, not children. Goggle to read the stories, it’s not good when your not getting the same dose in each pill. Listen to your doctor, use the right Vitamin & eat real fruits & vegetables your body needs of each exact serving that will do the same thing and as these proclaim . where the FDA found each pill did not have the same doses of what you need as a multi-vitamin or the amount of fruit & veggies.
The FDA needs to investigate the suggestion of this crazy expensive vitamin using suggestion of a disable child who can’t speak for himself, in an ad I find completely ethically wrong. The FDA points out, there has not been an clinical trials, this alone should tell you it all of us would be running for a bottle!

Based on science? With all of their claimed laboratory studies, where is the report of basic nutritional levels? Note this potentially damaging for people with Chronic Kidney Disease; product is a no-go for anyone that needs to limit Potassium or Phosphorus. Here is what myfitnesspal is able to report.

I would ask your Doctor about that.

Never use any product in a feeding tube not approved by your doctor. Vitamin Supplements are not regulated by the FDA any more than candy is.

Anything we can do to increase nutrition is our bodies is mandatory but I DO NOT like pills, powders or liquids that I have to swallow through my gut! Too many people have gut issues and the absorption % is minimal! So I found a product that is effective, so much more cost effectve and simple - through my skin into my blood stream with a 75%+ absorptiom rate, a money savings and amazing result. Complete Vitamin/Mineral with Omega3, Joimt Pain supplment, Sleep Supplement and so much more - all Natural Ingredients in a simple little 1" x 1" patch!

I am old and I’ve seen this kind of stuff being sold for decades. Save your money, buy real food, and donate the money saved to something worthwhile. Believe in independence data from independent sources versus and don’t believe in hearsay or shills. If a person giving you the information derives profits from your gullibility, then don’t trust the person/organization.

Nameless is absolutely right. Take powdered fruit and veggies instead of eating the real thing is total BS. It’s a gift. There is no actual scientific research backing up any of their claims.

I am a first time purchaser of the Balance of Nature combo. I am probably not going to purchase this product again. I believe it is fraudulent advertising…. The powdered capsules could not possibly constitute anything more than a small serving of one fruit and one vegetable!!!!!! I feel these products are rip offs!!
