It is a go to for me for any spur of the moment gathering, because it literally takes five minutes to mix together (although it does need to sit in the fridge for a few hours) and is a definite crowd pleaser! Busy mamas unite!

Easy Spinach Dip

This easy spinach dip is the perfect yummy side dish or appetizer for any party or gathering!

Ingredients

1 pint sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 can water chestnuts drained and chopped
1 pkg. Knorrs veggie dip soup mix
1 box frozen spinach rinsed and drained

Instructions

Press all the water out of your spinach and mix all ingredients together until well combined.
Refrigerate AT LEAST two hours prior to serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container.

I love this recipe because even if I've completely forgotten I have to bring something somewhere I can usually scrounge up the ingredients for this one from my pantry... in fact, I may or may not keep a can of water chestnuts at all times specifically for this recipe, ha! If you don't have water chestnuts on hand though, you can still make this without them in a pinch!

The two hours in the fridge are to give the spinach time to soften and absorb into the dip a little! The flavors just meld together so well.. all it takes is a little time!
